We spoke up at our local County Commissioners Court to support our Sheriffs Department. There was a risk county court was going to fail to renew a measure that provided the department with mission essential tactical equipment. Our founder Jamahl Labbe, with a few others, spoke up in defense of the officers. The court was swayed, a 5-0 vote, and the equipment was maintained.
All of us can do something to support our officers.
